I honestly can't remember a time when I wasn't passionate about both Nature and Photography.  My parents took us on hundreds of camping trips growing up and I credit those trips for all three of my loves, the third being Travel.

I graduated from college at East Carolina University in 1995 with a degree in Business and moved to Raleigh where I started my first company.  Life happens as they say and for many years my photography was my creative escape from everyday stress as well as an excuse be in Nature and Travel.  I would say the last 7 years have been focused on "serious" photography not only shooting but also equipment, technique, editing and building both my image and travel portfolios.  When people ask me what inspires my passion I say there is a great big world out there and I have to see it all! I try and share the beauty through photos with the hope it will inspire someone else to step outside of their comfort zone even if it's to book that trip they've always wanted to take. Over the last 7-10 years I have traveled extensively the United States shooting our National Parks including the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Glacier National Park and Yellowstone on multiple occasions.  I've shot wildlife and landscapes in Alaska, Mexico, Amsterdam, Iceland and Tanzania Africa with upcoming trips to Ireland and Italy planned.  New York City, North Carolina Outer Banks, Florida Keys, Florida Everglades, Los Angeles, San Francisco and the Scenic Coast of California are among my favorite USA shooting destinations.  I have learned a tremendous amount from the Professional Photographers with whom I've traveled in groups and I look forward to many more adventures.
