In 1995 I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Business and moved to Raleigh where I started my first company. Life happens as they say and for many years my photography was my creative outlet for everyday stress, as well as my excuse to be in nature, and travel.
Finally, in the last 12 years, I made the transition to full-time professional photographer and I have always been an exclusive Nikon shooter. I travel the globe leading 5-8 photography workshops annually and in between trips I sell my work in a very successful Etsy shop. Because I am a serial entrepreneur, covid travel restrictions naturally opened the door for my latest endeavor. I now own a successful online consumer printing business, and with the help of my Canon image Prograf pro 6100, I am stretching very large canvases for my Etsy shop as well as consumer uploaded photos and shipping them all over the country.
I am a member of NANPA (nationally) and CNPA (locally) I regularly travel the United States shooting our National Parks including the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, and Smoky Mountains National Park. 2021 became extra exciting when I purchased my teardrop camper and drove solo from North Carolina to Yellowstone and the Tetons on a 35-day photography expedition.
