About LeAnn Stamper
LeAnn Stamper is a professional photographer, guide, and lifelong explorer with a passion for capturing the wild places that make our world extraordinary. Known for her warm teaching style and deep knowledge of America’s national parks, she helps photographers of all levels build confidence, create meaningful images, and experience nature more intentionally.
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, LeAnn now resides in Pray, Montana, just minutes from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business from East Carolina University in 1995, and what began as a personal love for travel and the outdoors naturally evolved into a full-time photography career in 2010. Living on Yellowstone’s doorstep allows her to spend 3–5 days a week in the park from April through October, plus a full month each winter—giving her an intimate understanding of wildlife behavior, seasonal patterns, and the rhythms that define this incredible ecosystem.
Today, LeAnn leads all-inclusive, small-group photography workshops across Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, the Outer Banks, the Smoky Mountains, and global destinations—including Africa. She also offers private guided tours in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. As a permitted National Park Service CUA holder, LeAnn is committed to safe, responsible, and ethical photography practices in every location she guides.
Her work has been published in NANPA Expressions (Top 250 Showcase Winner in 2018 and 2019), The Atlantic, and has appeared on popular television shows, including Big Brother Celebrity and HGTV’s Fix It or List It. She also sells fine art prints for personal and commercial use on ETSY.
Above all, LeAnn’s goal is simple: to create unforgettable experiences in the field, help clients grow their skills, and inspire a deeper connection with the natural world through photography.
