Great Smoky Mountains National Park Workshop 2023
Smoky Mountain National Park, Tennessee
April 19 - 23, 2023 (5 days/4 nights )
Join me in Townsend, TN for springtime in the Smokies! The National Park Service reports "Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a world-renowned preserve of wildflower diversity—over 1,500 kinds of flowering plants are found in the park, more than in any other North American national park. In fact, the park is sometimes referred to as the “Wildflower National Park.” From the earliest hepaticas and spring-beauties in the late winter to the last asters in the late fall, blooming flowers can be found year-round in the park." We will spend our days from sunrise to sunset photographing wildflowers at their peak, rushing mountain streams, spring green foliage, and amazing mountain scenery in the best possible light. The park offers great photographic opportunities for everyone including mountain landscapes, wildlife (bear, turkeys, elk, deer, coyote, and many birds), historic buildings, and rushing streams. We will shoot sunrise and sunset at the iconic locations including Clingmans Dome, Cades Cove, and the Morton Overlook. Please Contact Me for details.
