What Makes This Trip Different?

I believe a very important detail of any photography workshop is a small group.  One small group of participants plus one epic location equals a solid foundation for the trip of a lifetime!  Africa is a magical place for those who love nature and spectacular for those who have a passion for photographing wildlife. Whether it is your first trip to Africa or your 4th trip to Africa the amazement remains the same as we photograph the national parks and refuges of Tanzania.  We will photograph Arusha National Park (where we will see the Colobus Monkeys and baboon troops) Tarangire National Park (the mecca for Baobab Trees and Elephants) Serengeti National Park (Lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, and Wildebeests just to name a few), Ngorongoro Crater (this is where we likely photograph the Big 5!).  Ndutu is where we will photograph the great migration and calving wildebeest! We will visit a Maasai village where we will learn about the native culture with a rare opportunity to photograph their native dances and celebrations including a peek into their daily lives.  We will learn customs, history, and folklore from our very experienced guides and we will spend the evenings under the stars around a campfire, recapping the day's events and planning for tomorrow.
