What Makes This Trip Different?
We believe a small group size is essential to any successful photography workshop, so we have crafted this safari with that in mind. A small group of participants combined with one epic location creates the foundation for a truly unforgettable experience. Africa is a magical destination for nature lovers and a dream come true for wildlife photography enthusiasts. Whether it's your first or fourth trip to Africa, the awe-inspiring beauty of Tanzania's national parks and refuges will captivate you every time. You'll photograph the unique wildlife of Arusha National Park, where Colobus Monkeys and baboon troops roam; Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic Baobab Trees and large elephant herds; and Serengeti National Park, home to lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and wildebeests. In the Ngorongoro Crater, you’ll have the rare opportunity to capture images of the Big Five. At Ndutu, witness the breathtaking Great Migration and the calving of wildebeest. We'll also visit a Maasai village, offering a rare chance to photograph their vibrant dances, celebrations, and daily life while learning about their customs, history, and folklore from our experienced guides. Our photography safari is meticulously designed to immerse you in the finest wildlife locations Tanzania has to offer. Unlike many other safaris, we limit each vehicle to just three photographers, giving you ample space for your gear and unobstructed access to shoot from both sides of the vehicle. This setup maximizes your photographic opportunities and ensures a more intimate, personalized wildlife experience. Our expert guides, well-versed in the nuances of light, positioning, and animal behavior, will help you capture unforgettable images, placing you in the right spot at the right time. Evenings will be spent under the stars around a campfire, recapping the day's events and planning for the new adventures of tomorrow.
